32 players will battle it out in this evening’s Summer Showdown, taking place at Bradmoor Farm in Haddenham. The event, returning for the second year after a successful first staging in Rotherham, will cap off the 2023/24 UDUK season and guarantee a debut event winner. Hallam’s Filip Brom has been a part of North Central, Big Weekender teams and national title winning sides and may well come in as a strong contender for this individual crown. Sheffield’s Tom Jepson and Warwick’s Dan Arthur may also be ones to watch in what remains a fairly open draw, without recent tournament winners Dan Outwin, Morgan Shillito and Musa Ali. Play for the singles event will begin at around 5.30pm, with a blind pairs event kicking the day off at 3pm.
